DEFINED INTEGRATION (DI or DefInt, for short) broadly refers to integrating balanced change in a clearly defined fashion and into any form of structured organisation. The notion of integration applied herein includes at least a technical component (i.e. integration as it is understood in Information Technology), a social component (i.e. integration as it is understood in Sociology) and a process component (i.e. integration as it is understood by Governance, referring to clear roles, decision rights and policies that inform organisational structure).
DEFINED INTEGRATION enables organisations to define and integrate the right changes effectively and sustainably. In order to do so, it uses a holistic view of strategic development and the transitions required to embed all related technologies, resources (particularly human beings) and processes within the organisation and its environment. DEFINED INTEGRATION uses distinct models and an adaptive philosophy (since 2001 a.k.a. Agile, and commoditised and adjusted ever since). Built on 20 years of personal experience, its approach is based on better practice to align components such as project portfolio management (PPM), business analysis (BA), business architecture (BArch) and organisational change management (OCM).
